FOUNDER

Aron Ambia has practiced tax, finance, and immigration law in the US for over 10 years. He is passionate about providing adaptive, dependable, and solutions-oriented legal services.

After graduating from Harvard Law School, Mr. Ambia worked for a large, multinational law firm in Washington, DC, and later, at a private immigration law firm serving Northern Virginia, Maryland, and DC. Mr. Ambia founded A Plus Legal Services LLC in 2022, where he applies his deep legal knowledge and consulting experience to help resolve federal tax matters, navigate US immigration processes, and advise on federal finance regulatory compliance. Shaped by his work in large and small law firms, Mr. Ambia provides sophisticated legal services through direct attorney-client relationships to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Mr. Ambia is admitted to the New York Bar and practices Federal Tax, Finance, and Immigration law in all US jurisdictions. Mr. Ambia is a member of the New York Bar Association, the DC Bar Association, the American Bar Association, American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), and the Federal Bar Association.

Mr. Ambia is fluent in both English and Swahili.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Valerie Jones has 15+ years of experience in accounting and office administration across for-profit, non-profit, and state government sectors.  Ms. Jones has extensive professional experience working in non-profit, civil, and human rights law firms.  She uses her administrative skills and management experience to optimize office operations and continuously improve processes to enhance customer service and satisfaction. 

Ms. Jones holds a degree in accounting from the University of Phoenix.  She is experienced with using accounting software such as Peachtree, Sage, Chempax, and is a Certified Professional in QuickBooks. Ms. Jones is also a Notary and has maintained her commission for 10 years. 

In her spare time, Ms. Jones loves to spend time with her family and friends, and loves doing small projects around the house.  As a natural problem-solver, she also enjoys putting jigsaw puzzles together from her extensive puzzle collection.  

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR - Operations and Business Development

Sim brings over a decade of strategic leadership experience spanning nonprofit management, corporate social impact, and state government to her role as Executive Director of Operations and Business Development at A Plus Legal Services LLC. She specializes in leveraging technology and AI automation to optimize business operations, having successfully implemented solutions that reduced operational expenses by 10% and increased cash flow by 15% within 30 days of implementation.

Prior to joining A Plus Legal Services, Sim served as Disability Policy Engagement Director at Elevance Health, where her stakeholder engagement and business development expertise contributed to securing over $4 billion in Managed Care contracts.

Sim holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California, and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Grinnell College. She is currently pursuing certificates in Artificial Intelligence from both the University of Maryland's Robert H. Smith School of Business and the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

She brings a unique combination of policy expertise, business acumen, and innovative technology integration to support the firm's growth and operational excellence.
